How payments work

Adwait — the short, honest version of where your money comes from and how it reaches you.

At a glance

How you earn

While an AI response is generating on a supported site, Adwait shows one clearly labeled ad. A view counts when the ad is at least half visible in an active tab for at least one second — the industry viewability standard. Each counted view credits you 50% of that campaign's rate. For example, a campaign paying $4 per 1,000 views credits you $0.002 per view. If no campaign is live, the card says so and nothing accrues.

Estimates and verification

The balance in your popup is an estimate. Advertisers independently verify the views they pay for, and final figures are reconciled against those verified counts. This is why payouts include a review window rather than being instant.

Cashing out

When your available balance reaches the $5 minimum, the Cash out tab lets you request a payout of your full available balance. You choose a destination at that moment — a PayPal email address or a USDC wallet address on the Base or Polygon network. You can have several requests under review at once — each new request needs a further $5 of newly accrued balance, with a short pause between requests. While requests are pending, your available balance shows only what has accrued since.

Timing and fees

Requests are reviewed and paid after a reconciliation window of up to roughly 30 days. Depending on the payout method and your region, payment-provider fees (PayPal) or blockchain network fees (USDC) may reduce the amount received.

If you choose USDC

Double-check the wallet address and make sure it can receive USDC on Base or Polygon specifically. Crypto transfers are irreversible — a payment sent to a wrong or incompatible address cannot be recovered.

Your earnings key

Your balance is tied to a random key stored in your browser — no account exists. The popup's Cash out tab lets you copy this earnings key; pasting it into a fresh install restores your balance on a new browser or computer. Treat the key like a password: anyone holding it can direct that balance at cash-out. If you uninstall without saving it, the balance cannot be recovered.

If a request is rejected

The amount returns to your available balance automatically — nothing is lost. Requests are typically rejected when verification doesn't match or activity looks automated. If you believe a rejection was a mistake, contact us and include your earnings key.
